[00:01:17] That'd be the Double Theme song for the next 19 games. That's right, yes we are the Uncle Puckers. We're doing a little emergency trade recap episode tonight so today was the end of the trade deadline and Devils were actually a bit active.

[00:01:42] So we'll talk about that, they had a couple of big moves that kind of changes this team quite a bit. Yeah, it was a bit of a flurry, so unexpected just to recap exactly what was done. There's really like four moves made today.

[00:01:57] One was the obvious expected to fully trade it away. It's going to win a peg, a couple of picks there. Second and the third, yeah. Exactly. So we can talk about each of these more but the second one is Jake Allen. So we're getting Jake Allen from Montreal.

[00:02:20] Looking at this, there's some structure to it. We'll go into about what does this move mean, what's the good about it, what does it bring us? So we acquired him and this was acquiring for basically the retaining salary so that didn't give up anybody for that.

[00:02:41] Third move was Colin Miller to win a peg and finally, of Vanichek is traded away to San Jose for Coppoh Cochon. So those are four pretty big moves. So you're interested in some of these and you want to take a moment at time or?

[00:03:02] Yeah, I mean we knew to fully with him being sat out last night. We knew he was going to go. Now I also, you know that Fitzgerald had said he's hoping for a one but he's going to get some draft picks out of it.

[00:03:15] So I know that devil fans on social media were pretty pissed off and on an upper order. It was only a second and a third but I think you have to kind of look at this in a couple of different ways.

[00:03:29] I would not be shocked if we find out later on that there were some teams that were maybe willing to give up one for Tyler to fully but it also does come down to who are those teams.

[00:03:39] If the Carolina hurricanes or Boston Bruins or Rangers or Team like that that you may have to see down the road, is it worth giving our top goal score to a team in the east

[00:03:55] for a first round or maybe you ship them as far away as possible which would be Winnipeg. Where they have a hell of a team, they have a good shot of winning a cup.

[00:04:03] I think you're doing him a solid but at the same time maybe you're not getting that full return back. I think that that could have been a reason of why it was only a second and third or it

[00:04:14] could just be as simple as that's all that they were offering. Right. And we see some fan reactions. There's a lot of fans look this just you know trade stuff and when you get to the finances

[00:04:24] is confusing to some extent so I give people a lot of leeway here but a lot of them are saying well why don't they just keep them. So to answer that question what's wrong with saying we're going to make a deal with

[00:04:37] Tyler to fully don't worry, we're not trading away, he remains a double through the rest of this year. What are we risking? Explain. Well I don't think you're risking anything and I think that in a perfect world that is what Tom Fitzgerald wanted to do.

[00:04:52] It looks like they were a far apart on term that you know five or six years is what to fully was looking for and that the doubles were only willing to give him a three or four year contract.

[00:05:04] We touched on it a little bit yesterday on the show that we did I think that when it comes down to it he is a UFA after this year. Right. If this guy really has his heart set on a five or six year deal and Tom Fitzgerald

[00:05:21] knows in his heart of hearts I can't give it to him. He cannot there's just not a place for Tyler to fully for a five or six year term on this team.

[00:05:30] Even a four year term I would say I would like to see a Tyler to fully for a two year deal you know maybe three years max. So I think that a lot of it came down to yeah if they could have retained him under you

[00:05:47] know under the terms that made Tom Fitzgerald in the doubles comfortable I think it would have happened. But because they couldn't reach that term there was a much better chance of him walking

[00:05:57] for nothing at the end of this year and then you also couple in the position of the team and where they are I think it makes sense I think he had to go at that point

[00:06:06] if you could not agree on a term there's no reason to keep him and haven't even June or May or April or you know whenever for nothing so I kind of get that one.

[00:06:18] Conor Miller won was a little bit why he didn't get anything I think he got what a fourth back or maybe it was an hired in there. They were getting a fourth round pick and twenty twenty five. So next year's right. Right. That's all six right.

[00:06:38] Yeah twenty twenty six a fourth round pick. A fourth round pick. All that is is a trade ship for cheaper down the road you know what I mean like you might as well wipe your ass with that fourth round pick two years from now.

[00:06:49] This is this is what kind of trouble me with this you're not getting much back. He has been helping your shaky defense this year. Yep. I mean if we were a hundred percent that you know Hamilton's coming back and we

[00:07:05] got to make some room you know we had problems with making room and defense but it's been hard pull and Miller out of line up especially of late I think they should have jumped on him a little earlier he's been consistently good even did it all scoring recently.

[00:07:19] I would not you don't know why we're getting rid of Colin Miller to what I'm going to do with much rather of seeing Jonas Seagund all or go in a package than Colin Miller.

[00:07:31] But it's just been part of the to fully deal even though it's not because it's made when a pack. It does seem like you know maybe there could have been that you know it could have

[00:07:40] just been kind of kicked in but why would you kick in Colin Miller you know you. So I don't know what the reasoning is now maybe with Hatoca play as well as he did

[00:07:53] maybe they do want to give him more of a chance up here maybe he's going to get some more ice time and they call him up and you can kind of just plug him in and you were

[00:08:02] just looking for us that's maybe for a guy who you see you don't have space for next year when Dougie Hamilton is healthy and this team is kind of back at its full power.

[00:08:14] I'm just trying to play the devil's advocate and make and make and fix things about things that can make sense with it. Maybe that's it but that was kind of the one out of all four moves that were done that

[00:08:28] I don't want to say I was troubled by because look I've said it in a million times. You know the guys that their names on the back of the jerseys are not what I'm interested in and I'm interested in what our team is doing.

[00:08:40] Right so but I liked Colin Miller and I also think you're taking away a great shot on the point now you have nobody to replace him. He kind of I think Lindy rough took a long time with managing getting Colin Miller into

[00:08:56] that power play and it which I think he should have done all that. I didn't get it I thought we were like when we first got Miller I'm like oh why we

[00:09:02] got a Hamilton goes down and I'm like this is why we got him but then that's got a rocket. We're not playing them and I don't get it no I think there's a plan

[00:09:12] to more he he performed pretty well I thought and I think there's a lot of stuff like you look at the first you look at this season up till now. I think for the first time all season this team can actually stop and take a beat

[00:09:28] and a deep breath and realize you know what all the bullshit kind of seems to be behind us. We are out of a playoff picture and we're not out of it but we're out of it we're not in a spot

[00:09:39] right now so wherever they're going to have to go and get it's going to have to do going to have to work their asses off for it maybe they can focus a little bit more now. The trade-in those are statistical statistically not likely right? It's statistically not.

[00:09:54] If you had to put odds on it we're like probably 10% or so one thing they could be hard to candy cap that but what do I think? I don't know what like money podcasts are odds at right now I haven't checked out today but

[00:10:08] just what doing normal math kind of like we do and you know everybody does where your schedule watching and you know scoreboard watching and all that. It's five games. In my opinion you have 19 left. You can lose five in regulation.

[00:10:24] That's it. There is not enough room to go on a three game losing streak again or any of that shit. It's got to be you have five weeks left. You can a lot yourself. One

[00:10:38] regulation loss a week is how I'm looking at it. Otherwise you're just not going. There's this I do think that the two main teams were chasing Philadelphia and the islanders

[00:10:50] and maybe I'm speaking out of my ass on this but I do think the devils are a better team. And I think that now you have some like it does seem like it was a completely different team last night

[00:11:03] against the St. Louis Blues. It was just that their mentality was different they weren't you know they were much cleaner much more responsible. It didn't seem like they were gripping

[00:11:13] their sticks to tight. They seem more relaxed and that's where you want to be as a team. I mean it was three game since these guys won one and they went a big home game last night that they

[00:11:26] had to win playing against a team that had to win. I mean St. Louis is in the same position we are. So this was a must win for both and we walked them. I thought Nico does play well but now

[00:11:40] that brings us to the two major moves. Jake Allen I've said on this show I have not interested in Jake Allen I don't want Jake Allen. Jake Allen is an author. We got Jake Allen we got Jake

[00:11:55] Allen. Now look this is not you have to try and part and parcel what it is that Tom Fitzgerald like I really feel like Fitzgerald on this day today and for the last month he was completely caught

[00:12:09] you know with his pants down around his ankles somebody walked in at a bathroom and he was standing there with his dick at his hand and he had to do something. You blew every move that you had

[00:12:21] that became public and you tried to get cute or you tried to do whatever but you still were left to what this huge deficiency on this team and if you are serious about saying these 19 games

[00:12:32] the left I have to get the best out of this team and hope and pray that we can scratch our way into the playoffs well if you're going to do that you have to get a goalie. Jake Allen didn't play a

[00:12:43] lot in Montreal he was on a really bad team in a three goalie system so he wasn't getting a ton of ice time. You got him for essentially nothing yes he does have a little bit of term all right you

[00:12:59] have him next year which is where I like this deal because I like the idea of potential backup right I like the idea of this summer if you can really go and pull off whatever it is that

[00:13:14] Tom Fitzgerald wants to pull off and most likely be Jacob Markstrom still. I think come summer time it might be Linus Omar who's named me start hearing but it'll be one of those two guys and

[00:13:23] if you can go and get a Jacob Markstrom or Linus Omar and then have Jake Allen backing them up I'm not saying we have you know Swain and Omar tandem or you know just Turk and quick tandem

[00:13:36] but it's a hell of a lot better than Dawson Schmidt. Yeah so I mean that experiment has been concluded yes and it was it failed. Now look if I don't look at this as a move that I think it's fair to

[00:13:49] explain the some badge you might be thinking hey here I am in this season I've been a complain about goal-tending my goal-tending has this safe percentage and you went out and got me goal-tending with

[00:14:02] the same safe percentage. It's not really the right way to look at it. No it's definitely not the right way to look at it because yeah all four of these all five of these guys you can put vana check in

[00:14:13] which smid with Daw's with Allen and with cock cocking in right you put those five dudes together and their numbers are like almost mirror images of each other none of them have a safe percentage

[00:14:25] over nine they're all at like three and a quarter to three and a half goals against but the difference is cock cock cock cock in and especially played on a really bad team and jay Allen wasn't playing

[00:14:42] a ton and when he was playing was on the bad team so I like cocking it I was not expecting that move I thought it was just gonna be jake Allen and we weren't really sure what was gonna happen when

[00:14:54] v-tech whether or not he was gonna come back this year but I was kind of for most of today resigning myself that it was gonna be Allen and Daw's and we'll see how they can do because

[00:15:04] look jake Allen's not a bad goalie he's a bit older he's got you know I flops around a little bit too much for my liking but he has won a cup and I'll be at a back up

[00:15:15] for bending ten and two thousand nineteen reading into the job from him but I don't hate him I'm real curious to see how he does on this team and I'm real curious to see how they position these two

[00:15:28] guys right cuz you know we now have completely different goal tenders like we have not seen either one of these guys I think the last time we're gonna see any of these guys are tomorrow

[00:15:36] of our guys because it looks like Daw's is gonna play tomorrow from what I read they're trying to get coppo down here from San Jose to at least back him up next year just tomorrow but jake

[00:15:49] Allen's dealing with v-zashit and Montreal they're trying to get back down to the United States so I would think I don't know probably how that's straightened out by Monday and Monday it'll be one of

[00:16:00] those two dudes and that against the Rangers um if the team plays well in front of them the way that they played last night again with Daw's I think that will be okay I like this tandem

[00:16:12] I don't hate it and I think for where Tom Fitzgerald was like I said with his dick in his hand Bobby said it last night on the show like he thinks the doubles are gonna be both sellers and

[00:16:24] buyers he was 100% right we were but I think for how bad things were I think he did the best with what he had he said he could stand there with the cockin in the sand it's doesn't you can have a big

[00:16:39] fat cockin in so yeah I like what do you think do you like the moves do you feel they're just redundant what are we doing it's it's a little bit of you know kind of where we thought

[00:16:53] the chances were with this team there was not a lot out there to go all in with anyway and there's no way they were gonna do it in fact they positioned for next year and I think that's

[00:17:04] the wise move at this point you know our fans frustrated that it's kind of a throwing the towel yeah but no there is some consolation price it's not 100% throwing the towel I mean

[00:17:16] you know dump a van to check that's a move for prepare prepare prepare for next year but you didn't have to go and you know chains entire tandem out you know so that that is something there they're going hey

[00:17:27] we did improve this team on paper in the gold teniposition you can argue that we've made ourselves a little worse on defense but all in all you know fans have to appreciate that with the moves that were available

[00:17:41] this is this is what you got um sometimes people think the trade deadline can cure all the hills of the season and it really can't it's a great way to augment when everything's going well

[00:17:54] and if everybody else when things aren't going well the trade deadline is just the you know set up sometimes for some hardbreak and for people who are really excited about the fully this year because

[00:18:04] in a year we're you know we didn't expect them to lead the team and goals he did I understand why they're upset you know I get it especially if you're I don't want to say like casual fan but you know

[00:18:13] you're not looking at the whole year to year picture and what has to be done it is you know you could see how people who have tickets for these upcoming games are like oh management's

[00:18:25] telling me this is not our year but I think you know there's a still reason to be excited about what's left because the chance is not zero that they make it in and you take the team that now we see

[00:18:38] on paper I think it's better off than before the deadline so you know I well and we miss Miller yeah but if guys step up and we don't you know we look at this as our goal-tending has improved

[00:18:56] you look at the state percentages it's hard to say that but those teams are definitely worse like we're complaining about our team defenses year but our team defense hasn't been consistently that bad

[00:19:07] no it's a little few games and what cocking it was was facing every night in San Jose it's just not fair for any gold tender oh yeah you know so coming here and maybe you know just facing 25 shots

[00:19:19] to the night I think that couple cocking it can be a very good gold tender for this team and I put him in the bin and we brought him up I mean we talked about him back November December it was him

[00:19:31] he was probably in that bin what like Elvis Merlikons and not type of player but I like cocking and who knows you know cocking in my come in here and he might be a very good goalie and we might think

[00:19:44] we all maybe we need to retain him after the summer it's possible but yeah I think one of his stats that I think the fashion focus on more than safe percentage with him is that he

[00:19:56] he's got above average an expected goal scored okay that's pretty good so he's like performing as well or better than he should the chances he's faced and that comes from that you know

[00:20:13] stat engine so it's like what does it mean but when you compare that with our guys we're below average with that so that on paper makes him better already you know all the paper on paper stuff can

[00:20:23] go out the window because you got like what's left here these 20 something games 21 and then that's 19 or not even a 20 so yeah you know we'll see how they gel it's it's going to be a little

[00:20:38] bit of a new team here and you know you you still have the same nice car you know you're still have the good engine in that car you now maybe have somebody that can drive the car a little bit

[00:20:52] better in Travis Green you sure that car up a little bit in goal just whether or not there's enough runway for that car that's the question you know I mean is there is there enough runway I

[00:21:02] don't know 19 games are tough and giving yourself five losses really is real and looking at it's like you got 66 points if you can pull 14 points out that's 28 but 14 wins out that's 28

[00:21:17] that puts you over 100 and at this point I'm looking at this that all the teams we have to catch and jump and it might have to be it's going to have to be just a head down business like

[00:21:32] go out there and perform every night in win games when no matter what if they want to go east to west and play a defensive style game you got to be able to do it if they want to go north

[00:21:43] and south and open it up you got to be able to beat them they want to get physical with you you have to be able to match them and in the end the goal tending is going to have to be a lot better

[00:21:52] than what we've seen all year and I think with cocking in and Jake out on a little bit yeah I don't hate I think maybe if you know had it to do over again Fitzgerald's making a bigger push

[00:22:06] that get the goal tender earlier if he had to do it all over again I think if you would if you were to ask him now he would have said the mistake I made was not making a move for Connor Hollabuck

[00:22:16] in the summer but even that his second biggest failure was not pulling the trigger on Jake a march from trying to get too cute without deal and basically turning Calgary off to it

[00:22:30] and they were never willing to get back in that with you and that was a problem and that was a mistake and I think he kind of drank his own cool aid and believed that he was this awesome

[00:22:41] GM neck and pull off any deal he wants and I think he tried to get cute and it bit him in the ass now you know there are some things about you know tomorrow is huge huge and we say that every game

[00:22:54] and then all the after tomorrow will be saying that on about Monday night against the Rangers tomorrow's huge now there's no more bullshit there's no more hanging you know things over this team that

[00:23:10] are going to take their attention away from playing hockey there's no more who's injured there's no more what's lending rough doing who's getting traded Michael will cloud who's on this team who's

[00:23:21] off this team who are we putting blame on there's no more that now it's this is the team you have there's 19 games left if you guys want it go and get it because they I mean I think that they are

[00:23:34] better than the Islanders and the Flyers so can you knock them off I mean we those are our last two games of the season against those two teams and I will not be shocked that those two games come

[00:23:45] down to whether or not one of these devils are in the playoffs or not yeah I mean it has the recipe for some great stuff you know everything jell's right he's under-restricted for agent so he he's

[00:24:01] wants to put on the best possible year when you're the gold tender looking at this man you got that short runaway it's actually kind of a gift you know like if you could get this team

[00:24:09] in the playoffs and then you know make noise I lost your damn so he's got all the motivation in the world yeah you're right you know he can come in here and say if I can put this team on my back and take

[00:24:21] this team to the playoffs well I'm in a hell of a lot better situation than I ever was out in San Jose and I have the opportunity to come in here and maybe earn myself a contract now you know

[00:24:32] I would like if it's caught cocking in in a number one or cocking in can become the number one who knows all that's for down the road summertime we'll see how this season goes but like I said

[00:24:44] I know that they were bashing fits Gerald online there were bashing them on XM and all this other stuff you know what he's our GM he's done some good things I think this year he got away for him a little bit

[00:24:58] I think he believed I don't think he had a pulse on what was going on in this team and that's a big indictment on him until it was too late but I still think he's a good general manager you know pulling off

[00:25:13] the team on my or trade last year doing the things that he did I think I'm still not giving up on him I've seen stuff on Twitter all day fire or more general manager in the league this is coming from

[00:25:26] fans that have never actually seen a bad general manager on their teams like a bad general manager will set your team back a decade and you know if it's Charles problem this year is he kind of like

[00:25:39] I think he looked a little too much faith in lindy oh yeah and I wonder how far that goes goal-tending I'm curious if I was if it's Charles waking up to wow I had to do this

[00:25:54] this ship was definitely staring around direction it's my bad I should have made this before earlier I'm looking at a rascal ski and seeing like okay what was the deal this year like why could we not ever get steadily you know average what's the communication like between

[00:26:10] the goal-tending and team defense situation like what is it what what can we do because here's where my concerns are like But we said you know these teams that these guys are coming from our worst defensive teams and I believe they are

[00:26:27] question is how much worse and you know like we need to commit you know fix that problem we've had this year because it's been really all year we've just found a way to bring everybody who comes to play for us

[00:26:41] bring their estate process down yeah start so strong and it cracks there's some kind of problem really hoping that that trend gets you know that that we kind of get away from that with

[00:26:56] Travis Green as our new coach I do I mean we've we just a little things that we saw all right that paid dividends right away like team of myor playing on the right side and that line of

[00:27:07] Pilot he sure admire looks like it can be something special now we talked about it a little bit last night I was thinking about it last night thinking about it more today I kind of would like to see

[00:27:19] mercer brought up into that second line yeah whether you're talking about yeah centering brat and user if you want to use a boat back to the middle and you put mercer on the wing it's fine

[00:27:29] they're interchangeable he's got a respond to that because all year he's been not him's former self but I mean this is the time to try that move right yeah this is the time to try to move because

[00:27:40] if it works and you can get a lot out of those three guys I mean you're talking about a top six that not a lot of teams in the east are gonna be able to compete with and then you know I think we

[00:27:51] have some strong guys in our bottom six with Lazar with Hala with you know holds and you know no sec I think there's enough guys down there that can chip in and do what they need to do

[00:28:06] this whole season just did not feel like I was watching the devil's it was just so I mean maybe it was the injury is maybe it was just all the mismanagement and everything but I kind of hoping

[00:28:16] not kind of definitely hoping that that's all changed and we can maybe get a glimpse if you look at all the major teams that are in the playoffs now and I mean the the Vegas is the Colorado's

[00:28:28] the Edmonton's to Boston's the Florida's to Rangers to Carolina's those that group of teams right at one point or another every one of those teams was playing the best hockey in the NHL

[00:28:40] at any given moment this season with fully expected the rain to devils to at some point this season be one of the hottest teams in the league and they never ever ever worked this is a time

[00:28:53] they have to be like they have got to start putting teams on notice and the next two games I think can go a long way in that if you beat Carolina tomorrow then you go on the road on Monday and you beat

[00:29:04] the Rangers two tasks that seem like unobtainable at this point because we haven't beaten these guys yet I mean we've had a great game against Colorado Carolina last time that one nothing shut out loss

[00:29:19] that was a hell of a game that I'm hoping that they can play that well again next week but I mean that move for Jake Getzel I really think puts the hurricanes over the top I mean I think

[00:29:32] that Getzel is such a great playoff performer that you know what's their biggest problem is they can't score goals in the playoffs well now I think that's going to happen and I think that

[00:29:46] the Rangers not going all in to get him is going to fight them in the ass because I do think Getzel is a difference maker I mean that to me was probably one of the biggest moves and then they just

[00:29:56] picked up somebody else today from Washington I think a sentiment I can't remember who it is but you know they're going they're good but I think that there does come down to their killies heel

[00:30:08] could it be if they do have one it's gold ending right so I was a little surprised that they didn't go out and make a move for a solid guy in the net I mean they just put out the ranta on waivers

[00:30:21] it looks like they're going to run with Freddie Anderson who has not played much this year because he was doing what's in injuries and some blood clot issues and shit like that so who knows

[00:30:31] how Caroline is gold tending is going to hold up this post season but I think that could be the only Achilles heel that they have we need to try and exploit that tomorrow because it's going to be a tough

[00:30:41] tough game yeah but it's going to be exciting yeah and if they could pull it off man and get on a run well I think that there's a path but now it's there's no more what's Lindy rough doing why is he

[00:30:57] such a fucking buffoon what's Tom Fitzgerald doing the guys and know what the fuck is it's going on there's no more at that anymore now it's up to the guys on the ice very true and they're going

[00:31:09] to have to go out and do it and I expect I expect him on my heart to keep going away he's been really looking like a power forward I mean that line it blew me away last night they were so good

[00:31:22] and just they looked like they were on a mission when they were out there everything they did they were doing with authority they were doing it with purpose all the passage look at all

[00:31:33] the two main assists from Palat like they were not these baby little bullshit tap passes like this raise where hard passes going right to team well not many guys on our team play like that but

[00:31:45] seeing Palat and Meyer and he should play that way was really awesome to see I hope as an infectious yeah guys like Mercer I feel like you know they could that could rub off on them yeah yeah

[00:31:59] I think you're right and I would love to see it but as far as the moves you know I think Carolina die law better I think Vegas got a lot better I think

[00:32:10] we always have those teams that you feel maybe did a little too much I kind of feel like maybe the avalanche did a little bit too much they kind of got they got a whole bunch of new guys in there

[00:32:21] that's not necessarily a recipe for success I like that the devils took their skaters we've talked about it all year like is there just too many people right now too many pieces on the

[00:32:32] chessboard that we don't know where everybody goes well if you eliminate some of those pieces from the chessboard and then you just focus I mean the only thing we revamped is our goal-tending

[00:32:41] and I don't know any devil fan that would say they weren't down with that I mean our goal-tending was God awful this year and I like that they didn't give up on dolls and they didn't give up on

[00:32:51] schmid they gave up on BTEC which is fine it was a UFA after this year where you really signed it again you don't want to go into next year with them it's it's gotten as far as going to go

[00:33:02] they got a lot of money left on the contract if you can get rid of it let's get rid of it I mean San Jose and fans of the sharks I'm sure by next season is gonna they're going to be put

[00:33:13] in Tom Fitzgerald's head in a news because what do you just keep giving us your shit goal-tenders okay that's nice yep you know I know that they're rebuilding and they're gonna end up trading those guys off at some point

[00:33:25] anyway but VTEC van O'Chec was an answer I think he's a good number two and I think if you have a guy like Jacob Marks from then as your number one a guy like VTEC van O'Chec is a very capable backup

[00:33:37] but to put it all on his shoulders and say take us to the promised land we saw what happened last year and then this year between the injuries and the inconsistent play and everything it just was a

[00:33:47] worth it I want fans to look at it this way too you know for years now we've said the goal-tending is a question mark we're hoping to see the question gets answered properly and and then you know

[00:34:00] I think that enough time came in this year it's a it was a van it's like it's not looking like it's smith ever and does not yet so what are you gonna do you're gonna go another year without that

[00:43:33] aren't playing great hockey you beat them once maybe you do it again you got the penguins you know the jets went to folian them come back and that's gonna be weird right just like a week later

[00:43:43] we get to folian Miller back and when we're going forward when those situations happen and now but you know it's it is what it is you know yeah I think they dropped the ball a lot this year

[00:43:56] but that's all over now you gotta go out with what you got and I am yeah I know like I said it's not Jacob Markstrom and it's not Linus O'Mark but I do think we got a lot better in goal

[00:44:11] we've got a lot more experience in goal I think couple cock and him will emerge as the number one once things get settled after you know a couple games but uh Jake Allen's capable yes

[00:45:04] to bring that confidence level down yeah that's the real danger so you're younger goalie and just you know you can't feel at least bit satisfied going at playoffs with that if he tech we know what we had there you know it just wasn't coming together
