[00:00:59] and Dan this evening, this is kind of take two because Tony couldn't get himself up. So we started the show and then we stopped the show and now we're restarting a new show. So we're gonna, I guess, just repeat the same stuff

[00:01:12] that we did for the first seven minutes. Love, we're on myself. Yeah, so this is a schedule show. We're gonna talk about the schedule. Couple of games of no what we're looking forward to. And just, you know, few observations here and there.

[00:01:27] So the first games that I have are, of course, the first two games out in Prague, October 4th and 5th. October 4th is a Friday at 1 p.m. And October 5th is 10 a.m. We're playing Buffalo both those games, you know, Lindy Roth.

[00:01:44] First look of this new Devil lineup plus Prague is gonna be an electric atmosphere. Really looking forward to those two games. You guys have any thoughts on those two? Tony, you gonna go out there? It's your luck closer to us.

[00:01:58] No, I'm thinking, I'm actually gonna go see them all which I'll talk about when we talk about the Tampa game. But no, we made a choice to go to America back to there for that time right afterwards for a while. So we kind of chose that trip.

[00:02:10] Cause I tell you what the tickets I'm gonna tell you. I was to, I think I told Chris or maybe Bobby even, I was looking at the tickets man. I'm not gonna pick pretty pricey man. It's a pricey trip. I gotta go to Prague.

[00:02:19] I think it was like, oh, the kids in the wife. It was definitely getting up there so we chose a different trip we have. And that's gonna be awesome games that we went to the Sweden games a couple years ago and they opened up the season. Right, remember?

[00:02:30] Against the oilers and it was, I tell you, I remember I was talking to Bobby during that time period and it was definitely different man. It was awesome. It was like a vibe there. It was tons of devil fans.

[00:02:40] It was actually insane how many devil fans were there. It was just like, yeah. Those people would've been happy and in Prague. I would assume we could have some fans there. I was gonna be in sync. I watched the first mission impossible the other day

[00:02:52] and I wanted to go to Prague. I mean, they do. You guys have been awesome. No, it's not my list. It's not a short list of European cities that I've never been in Europe. We went to Prague but before we got married, not kids.

[00:03:05] And it was absolutely, it's like a movie. Like Chris was saying, if you walk around and you feel like you're in this everything, just the architectures awesome, everything. I would love to go. I would love to go. But those first two games they should be awesome.

[00:03:17] And like, you know, the thing, all eyes of the hockey world will be on New Jersey and Buffalo for those two games. So hopefully we turn out okay in those two. And then we come home back to the United States, hopefully two and a no, right?

[00:03:33] The next game of no I have for the home opener is October 10th to 7pm start against the Maple Leafs. And you guys remember, we played them like three times in the last two and a half weeks of the season last year. We got them nice and early.

[00:03:46] Sheldon Keep gets his crack back at his old team, 69 goals score, Austin Matthews coming in the town and that's gonna be a really exciting game. I just, you know, Toronto and Devils kind of, they seem to, they kind of remind me of each other,

[00:04:02] you know, just in the way that they play, their speed, maybe this year hopefully we'll have defense. Chris Tanev, now with Toronto, that should be a really good game. That's one I'm definitely looking forward to. Yeah, I think this home opener is gonna be sick.

[00:04:19] I think people are gonna be so charged up for it. You know, there's a small contingent of the fans who are kind of like, well let's wait and see, what kind of if these moves are really gonna pan out.

[00:04:26] But I think most people are generally excited about seeing how they don't see it. I'm gonna say that more and more out there that I was actually kind of surprised how Luke Ormer or even negative some people were on a lot of these moves.

[00:04:39] I think I'm seeing less and less of that as they realize this is the team and they start comparing it to last year's team, they have to be impressed. And I think some people who didn't really work for Miller

[00:04:49] with some of these guys are starting to see how they, they could very well fit in nicely with us. It's the excited expectation, like the closer we get to the season, the more people are gonna be looking at us on paper,

[00:04:59] like our own fans and the more you're gonna start convincing yourself, this could really be something special. And when I go to these home openers, it's like a national holiday for me. You know what I mean? And I can feel the difference certain years.

[00:05:09] You really can't remember it was like two years ago, there's something about that pregame atmosphere was just intense and you couldn't move anywhere and it was crazy. And then last year was still super exciting and fun, but for whatever reason,

[00:05:22] even though most people thought we were gonna at least be almost as good, if not better, than the record breaking year before, it was just a little bit tamer. And that's because that's a year I was out there, you know, with the stickers and we're, you know,

[00:05:33] seeing what was going on, but for the most part it's always super exciting. And I think this could be one of these years, there's just kind of off the charts with anticipation, excitement. It's gonna be held a lot of fun on Edison Avenue, I'll tell you how much.

[00:05:43] And you're gonna have a lot of, maybe Lee fans there too, which is, you know, that adds to it, you know, they're pretty cool. How many games have you been to, opening games now? You're just like an arrow. Well I haven't missed them so graduated in 1999

[00:05:57] except for when the league shut down. So, that's impressive. Impressive. Yeah, you got a quite a street killing. The next album is made older. The next game that I have that I'm looking forward to, I think we all are October 14th,

[00:06:11] is a one PM start against the default Phoenix priorities. Now that you talk hockey club, John Marino makes his way back to Jersey, I'm just excited because the new team was never late and before. I think you hear that, you might have kind of,

[00:06:26] some I leaked the name, it's gonna be the Yeti. You hear the same stuff, right? Yeah, it looks like it's gonna be easy. I thought, because they kept referntures as you talk hockey club, but that's what was gonna be. And quite frankly, I kinda think that works now.

[00:06:37] I like you talk hockey club. I like you talk hockey club, I don't know the other one. Yeti anymore, yeah. It's just pretty good to get it. You know what you're doing. Yeah, you did. Yeah. I mean, I think it is,

[00:06:47] you don't like Utah hockey club or GD. Yeah. I don't like Yeti. First of all, the avalanche are already using a Yeti thing. They're right, they're neighbors. It's like, you know, I like to blizzard with the whole of their stuff

[00:06:58] and New Jersey Sheriff's when there's the New York Rangers. You know, it's your own, like, I don't, like, you said the Blizzard, no. I like the Blizzard. I hate those. Like the Washington football team, I hate that. I don't like the youth.

[00:07:11] It just works better in hockey though. Yeah. And I, you know, and I look, I mean, for this inaugural year, okay, it's Utah hockey club. We know it's not gonna stay that way. So, I mean, I'm, I like the sting. I thought that was cool.

[00:07:25] I thought that Utah sting or do Utah high. I thought it was kind of neat. I heard a bunch of people like we're big on the outlaws. I don't really like that Utah jeez. I don't think that was an option for the New Yorkers.

[00:07:39] But maybe maybe that's what you did. I still impartial to the sister watch. Utah sister watch. Again, that's a good one. I go to it. They don't often go with most accurate. They do something else. So next year, when we play the Utah Yetis,

[00:07:53] is that like a new team too? Like, you know, now we get to play the Yetis. You talk like, I don't know if we're gonna be saying Yetis or Yeti because, yeah, time is a plural. Yeah, time. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Is that what? Yeah.

[00:08:08] I think the plural of Yeti is yeti, but I'm not sure. I would think so. I mean, it's a clear way to talk yeti. Yeah, it's not real. Yeah. So they're just gonna have like, thermuses and on their mom. Like, you know, insulated copy costs.

[00:08:21] Faux out by Yeti. Yeah. Yeah. The Yetis was like the coyotes. The Yetis. And I like how we had the order, the market on cryptids. I don't like how they're moving into our cryptid territory. October 15th at Carolina, 7 p.m., the return game for a step on nascent,

[00:08:41] peshy. I want to see that. That's good one. You have anything to be for that Bobby? That you're interested in? Okay. So yeah, October 15th and of course it's Carolina. You know, they're the perennial one or two spot in the metro.

[00:08:54] So we're gonna have to beat them at some point. Even though I do think they fell off quite a bit this year. We're gonna sit. We will sit there. They're an interesting team. You know, are they gonna be able to put it together

[00:09:05] with all the losses that they had? And not just the losses on the ice. I mean, they lost their general manager. Down-law Dell left. You know, that's gonna be interesting to see what happens out in Carolina. But that's another game I'm looking forward to.

[00:09:21] Then I have October 25th, 7 p.m., at home against the islanders. It's the islanders rivalry game, first game to see them. Not much more than other than just a rivalry game. So I'm excited about it. Chris, are you excited to see the, what about the caps?

[00:09:38] And they did a bunch of shit this year. I think that was confusing. Yeah, what they were doing? I mean, they're putting pieces in place like they're a contender, but at the same time, I don't feel as there is enough pieces in place that they're a contender.

[00:09:55] I don't know. I mean, they could be good. I wouldn't be shocked if they're building it like, okay, look, we have to get the record for our matchkin. That's what I was thinking. That's the main goal is to break Gressky's records with Ovechkin.

[00:10:12] That means more than being a legit playoff team, but we'll see, you know, I could be reading into that. Do you guys think you're seeing Break the record? There's no good. I don't want to see him break it though. Do you want to see him?

[00:10:24] I've never been a fan of him. I get how he's a talented guy and he's definitely a Hall of Famer, but he's never been my kind of player. I have been a fan of him. I do want to see him break the record.

[00:10:35] Even if I didn't like him, just to be that close to it. And this is one of those records that takes a really long time. So should we call him? We want to hear the first person to call him

[00:10:42] and it's when he's a break, so I think I know. You think it's going to be a booting booting? Yeah, the reason is called. I mean, when he gets into a couple of goals, you're going to do, like, you know, I'm sure Gressky will be following him around

[00:10:55] and going to every game, and when he does break it, it won't be there, which is kind of cool. But I think I read it. I'm not 100% sure, but at this point in time compared to Austin Matthews and the same amount of games,

[00:11:10] Austin Matthews is on pace to be this record. It keeps playing the way he is. Well, the way the league is today. This record should have been broken. Seems like it should stand for years because it stood for so long. It won't.

[00:11:24] The way the game's played today, I think Matthews and McDavid, they will break each other's records over the year. And man, maybe others. There's a lot more scoring. I mean, McDavid's crushing most of Gretsky's playoff records now, and I'm sure they're just going to keep on following.

[00:11:43] But the goal scoring one is tough because I mean, they're not like, I don't know if there's a better goal score or natural goal score in the league than Austin Matthews. I don't think that is. The longevity of the way you're built too.

[00:11:54] Like, Austin Matthews the way he's scoring is not the way Ovech can scoring. He's saved a lot of wear and tear in his body. My basically people stated that one spot and take those shots, right? That's a good score.

[00:12:05] There are talented players who are very capable of doing this. But mostly it's just about can their bodies last as long as you need to. They're probably just kind of wrecked. And you're even seeing that with Ovech. And I mean, I think he had like eight goals

[00:12:18] going into the holidays season last year. And then I think he ended up with like 25 or something last year. He almost got the 30s, came on strong. He is going to be playing. It looks like Pierre looked at the wall, be centering him.

[00:12:32] Again, and a dude who we talked about, I don't like him. I personally can't stand him because he doesn't play at all like he gives a shift most of the time. And he wore out as welcome in Columbus and win a peg.

[00:12:45] And Rob Blake makes a huge trade last year with Winnipeg to get him to LA. And after just one season, he's like, and he gave up a lot to get him there. And then after one season, he's like, OK, we're done with this guy.

[00:12:58] It ships him out to Washington. Maybe Ovech can get him to play. I mean, he's a big guy. He's talented. He just doesn't seem like he cares about playing hockey. If he can get his shit together, then maybe that 42 goal mark can be reached this year.

[00:13:12] I mean, you think Ovech can hit 42 this year? I wouldn't think he's good. But I don't think it's more likely it's going to go into next year. I'm not saying on the other side of him by then for sure. But then what I'm more interested in is

[00:13:28] what do the Washington capitals do after the record is broken? Do they then say, OK, we're gotten everything and we're tearing it down to the studs. And we're going to rebuild this thing. We just want to win. We have to do. Right? Yeah.

[00:13:40] And I get that you want to keep pieces in place because you don't want to venture and break in this record for the Boston Bruins. You want them to do it for a fucking capital. So you've got to keep them there. So it's going to be interesting.

[00:13:51] It's start your rebuild early enough at the right time. It should only be that. It should be a small amount of years and not a decade, if you can just face facts and say, listen, we're going to be in that mushy middle if we don't start now.

[00:14:04] And you start to pick up your pieces. And you can turn it back around in four years, five years. It doesn't have to be the hell we went through. I want Boupleos going through. Right now. Yeah. Another game that I have here, October 30th, 10 30 at night,

[00:14:20] it's to use cup. It's Vancouver, In Vancouver. So yeah, anytime you can get all three he was brothers on the ice is something special. There I say it could be a preview of the final series we watched next year and two years or better than one.

[00:14:34] I like that. Man, that would be something that would be Vancouver, New Jersey, Stanley Cup Final. Man, that would be something. That would be awesome. So that's the next game. I'm really looking forward to then we go to November 1st, 9 p.m.

[00:14:55] at Calgary, Jacob Markstrom's return at one. I want to see how he's treated when he goes into how he plays. Hopefully he's not injured. He's playing. Yes. So November 1st, 9 p.m., I'm looking forward to that one. Got anything? Not even for us. No. No. No. No.

[00:15:18] So you got anything before that, Bob? No. I didn't have that one. And just so you know, I also didn't really look at all the flyers Islanders Rangers. I get that. They're always circled on the calendar. So I kind of...

[00:15:28] Yeah, I have the first flyer one in there, January 18th. I have the first Boston one in there because they get yeah. Those are just games you get up for. I actually don't love those flyer games because I can't have any of the broadcasts about the flyers broadcasts.

[00:15:43] Therefore it is just not enjoyable at all. Now, do you have an XM? Yes. So they were doing it during the playoffs and I think they're going to do it for like national games and stuff too. So they... I don't know if you heard during the playoffs,

[00:15:59] if you want to listen to your announcers, you can like you pause your TV at the first whistle. And then when you hear the whistle on the radio, you put hit play and it's supposed to sync up what you are. That's synchone. That's not your charters.

[00:16:14] Have you tried it? I've tried it once before with the AM radio, but yeah. I don't know. The people on XM say that when you do it right, it syncs up perfectly. So you can listen so maybe you can get spawning dannico for that game?

[00:16:30] That would be awesome. That's the only nice thing about bootleg in games over here is like you can kind of pick like the sites I use. You can actually put the broadcasts and I have to admit, it's nice because you know,

[00:16:39] it can pretty much always catch the devil's broadcast unless it's like a national game. Yeah, like if the devils get past the first round of the playoffs next year, I'd tell I plan on listening to them for going forward because I don't like any of the national people.

[00:16:53] So I never heard of the XM thing. No Chris, that's crazy. I've never heard that. Yes, they started, I guess they started doing it this year. It's the first I heard of it, but so the next game I have is November 4th, 830 in Edmonton, Western Conference

[00:17:06] Champs, it's a big one. So how are we gonna stack up against the best in the West? Yep. Then what other games do I have here? November 12th, 12th, there you go. November 12th and 14th. Those are the two. Both are both in Florida.

[00:17:26] So 7pm November 12th at the Panthers and then November 14th, 7pm again at the Panthers. So we go from our Eastern Conference Champion to our Eastern Conference Champion, our two-time Eastern Conference Champion, how are we going to play against the cats?

[00:17:42] That's the story lines that can come from this, right? Oh, it's one in one. They're even money. We go down, no one too. You're not good enough yet. We go up to nothing. There we go. We're on our way. It's gonna be written for us to

[00:17:54] depending on how that goes. Well, nice thing about this. This is like finally we go into the series and I'm not worried about like hey, can we protect ourselves? Can it finally we are a team that is, you know, we should be able to hang

[00:18:05] in that physical aspect. So I'm not excited for this series because Florida's no chope and they're going to hit you, but you know what, now we're going to hit you back. And I cannot wait to see how this team plays.

[00:18:14] I mean, it's going to be such a different look than even the last two years. They have a new element they didn't really have. And it's going to be great to see if they can just balance that all out and get that positive effects

[00:18:26] from that influence, we're all aligns. I think it'll be huge. I'm just so excited about it. I agree with you. That is just something that we wanted so badly in the last two seasons. This team to just play a little more physical.

[00:18:40] And when you look at the makeup of the team right now, and it works out and they play the way that they should be able to play. I mean, there's not many teams that I can think of

[00:18:52] that are going to have a really nice mix of physical and speed be able to forecheck and be able to also bring in the puck on the Russian and bring offense in that way. Like they really could have, I was all best team

[00:19:09] in the NHL with everything clicks and everybody stays healthy. So I mean, that's the thing about how I haven't to tar back is easy to overlook. And that's going to be great because I think back that how to tar and heat sure they were like one

[00:19:27] of the best shutdown lines. And I just think that's coming back. That's coming back and heat sure we had a good year don't get me wrong. But I'd like to see him again with tar. Or even if they're spread apart.

[00:19:41] Now you got two guys who can do that so well. So yeah, just so much anticipation, excitement about what the lines are going to be and how that works out. It's so cool. So excited. He co-he sure will be nominated for a selfie this year.

[00:19:55] At the end of the year, he will be up for a selfie. I believe. I don't think it's a wild prediction. I think it's very, very possible. I think this is the year. I think this is the year where he puts himself on the map

[00:20:06] and he really shows that he's a great leader. And he can do a lot with this team. I think a lot of work questions that we have about Nico Isher are going to be answered this year. I just feel it.

[00:20:18] I mean, you just see some of the stuff. You know, off season-wise, what he did in the world. Now he has a team around him that respects him. I mean, when I watched him stuff in Nacens, interview and stuff, he was talking about Isher

[00:20:31] and just how when he first playing with them and stuff and then playing against him, he's like, I remember last year, I beat him in a face off. And I was just chirping out on the whole time

[00:20:40] because I just beat one of the best guys in the face off, and I'm not a face off guy. And they gave him back and forth in their tight. And I was like, this is what he needs to. These guys coming in that respect him as that leader

[00:20:52] that are going to, you know, even though there's a lot of veterans now it's easy to be the leader when you have young guys that are, you know, you're kind of showing the way. Now there's guys that have a lot more experience than you.

[00:21:03] How are they going to react? And I think guys like Nacens and Peshit are going to follow this dude. All right, I think he's going to be a good leader. And again, I want to go back to Chris.

[00:21:12] What we always say is nice now to see the guys who want to come back these guys out. All the comments I've seen through the guys who have come back like the Tarr and Aeson have all said, like they love playing in Jersey, they're excited to come back.

[00:21:23] You know, what's a Tarr? It was a money thing. We were kind of last year, I remember we were kind of on the fence like I wouldn't mind seeing the Tarr back but you know, we kind of weren't surprised to see left.

[00:21:32] But I just really love the narrative where these guys are happy to be devils to me that's something that we didn't experience maybe years ago. There was a lot of times where you hear the opposite. So this is another positive thing going into the season. I think. Absolutely.

[00:21:47] I mean, it started, I mean, Fitzgerald said it, right? It started with Hamilton. He chose coming here and then pull out chose coming here. And then you have, you know, Timo Meyer, you know, he could've probably gotten more money and walking away somewhere else

[00:22:04] than he stuck around for eight years. Peshie wanted to be here to Tarr wanted to be here and Nathan had options. This was where you wanted to be. You're 100% right. You want to be here? Yeah. I mean, it's, he's, he, him and Carter are the two.

[00:22:19] I'm most excited to see play. Cause I haven't seen much of either of them but I know the type style they play and I know how they play and I just, those two dudes are gonna change. I'm just so excited.

[00:22:32] It seems like already, everybody is flotted into their role. We had a big problem with that last year, right? Poor thing. It feels like other than again, mixing of a few lines which can go either way and always change throughout the year anyway.

[00:22:47] You really do kind of know why each of these players was brought in. And it wasn't just we need all player get some body in here. They have very specific skill sets. Right? I'm just really excited about this scene. The more exciting I was two years ago.

[00:22:59] The off season was definitely very deliberate. I agree with you. I mean, hey, when your GM says I know exactly what this team needs and we all go yesterday to like, you know, yeah, we'll say and fucking did. I mean, and when, you know, we're not even talking

[00:23:15] about the marks from deal anymore and that and itself would have probably made this team. Which is true. Yeah, I was identified as a number one priority. You got out of the way quick. Right? It's big game hunting last very long

[00:23:26] and you know, look, maybe other people would have had a favorite goal 10 there but nobody's disappointed with Mark's shrimp. I mean, they realized, okay, yeah, two years down the road we're gonna have to, you know, think about something what are we doing at that point?

[00:23:41] This is two years and you solidified something you haven't had solidified in a long time which is every reasonable expectation to think you're gonna get above average goal-tending, top 20, lead goal-tending and that's very exciting itself. And like you said, these other changes

[00:23:58] which by the way are gonna be tied to the success of Mark's shrimp. These other changes are really getting the story, you know, are really the story here because there were so many of them. I mean, this is a lot of changes.

[00:24:10] I don't know that there's another team that did as well filling in its particular holes this year in the Austin Dental. I mean, there's big moves out there it's a big name moved around and I can't honestly say I've really studied

[00:24:24] how well they did filling out their team but I can tell you that Dental spends have to be pleased with what they've done. Here's a fun little exercise then taking a break from the schedule for a minute. We had four areas that needed to be upgraded

[00:24:38] or employed for it was coaching, go running, defense and mix up the food group. He did each of those. You replaced, fixed however you wanna call it. So what do you rank? It's the most important now because first it's easy to say oh Mark's from,

[00:24:52] we got our goal-tending but then you look at how well the defense is set or the fact that we reshuffled our bottom six which allow a top six of them. How would you like? Like, there's so interconnected I remember saying I don't care what goal they would get

[00:25:03] if it all fixes defense they had. So in that way maybe the defense is more important. I don't know and defense and toughness and to me that's the part of the most important because you can get good goal-tending

[00:25:14] but if we didn't fix that defense and add some grit we were, I don't think it was gonna save us. I think it's hard to say where Sheldon Keith ranks on this because we haven't seen him coach team and haven't seen what he's gonna do

[00:25:27] but if we go off of what he did in five or six years and Toronto that's huge. This guy is, here's the way it's harder. Pick, pick, which is the least important because you're gonna take Keith and say well automatically he goes to four, does he?

[00:25:42] Or is it the forward lines like what is it's so important to think the most important in my opinion was goal-tending. You had to get a goalie in there that knows what they were doing that can be a number one, a true number one

[00:25:57] and we did better than that we got one of the top five or six in the league. Again if this defense does what we think they're gonna do Jacob Markstrom could be up for a Vesna next year like this is how good the defense can be

[00:26:08] you know he's been nominated before maybe I don't think he's won it I don't think he's a Vesna winner Well he's runner up just just starting a few years back. Okay like two years ago. Yeah so how much no bomb in the back either?

[00:26:20] So big of a hole. And then you know I have the best hand though. Well I mean, quick answer, quick answer, quick answer, quick answer, quick answer, quick answer. Quick answer, quick answer, quick answer, quick answer. Right after that it's tough to say we're not the second.

[00:26:32] In a metro, absolutely. In the metro, in a metro, in a metro, in a metro. A metro, a metro, a metro, a metro, a metro, a metro. I didn't expect. I quick to have that much on it.

[00:26:38] He was a great goal-tender, we know we just went out what he did to us but I didn't expect him to go to New York and have that kind of lock, not lock. But you know I like Jonathan Kuei. He grew up a Ranger fan.

[00:26:50] He always wanted to play for them. I think that's cool that he gets to play for his team even though he was in the best American goals in world, world players. Right. So I'm all respecting the world from. And well team but okay.

[00:27:03] But you look at also what these teams with really good of tandem are paying for their tandem and then you look at what we're paying $6 million for both Alan and Markstrom for the next two years. We have Montreal retaining some salary on Alan and Calgary's retaining some

[00:30:42] good regular season team and probably do what they did in the playoffs again and let's stay face us in the first round in which case they're gone it's got to be in their heads now right

[00:55:35] started showing up and and women too a lot of NHL players were coming to her you know he's not alone in that there's a lot of power skating clinics run by women some of them had their original

[00:55:46] background and figure skating of all things but some of them also had hockey and some of the women of power skating coaches have been some of the most successful ones out there yeah she decided after

[00:55:58] doing that and getting a very good positive reception positive feedback everything she wanted to get into coaching and she apparently did an amazing job with Vialzma and Coachella Valley and now she will be behind the bench of Seattle Kraken so congratulations to them and that is pretty

[00:56:13] so very good awesome yeah they're gonna be the norm eventually I think you can see a lot more of it I mean I think you know we're already seeing them through referees the officials and sports you

[00:56:53] opportunities I don't remember too many girls play on the high school teams when we were in high school but I remember running to a few men's league teams with girls on them you know women on

[00:57:02] them that was a lot of fun to play with and that was cool and now days all the high school teams seem to have at least one lady on their team I was you know happy with my daughter played a

[00:57:13] couple seasons with the high school team and I was exciting yeah it's good times it's awesome and yeah so congratulations to her and the crack-in I think that's awesome breaking barriers man

[00:57:51] air about whether or not he was going to continue playing football he was working as a delie meets slicer at a grocery store he came back into the league switched over from or back in the college

[00:58:02] football switch from my receiver to corner back and was a big kid apparently everyone again no biking rookie camp and an OTA's this year everybody loved this kid they flock to him he was

[00:58:15] a personality people wanted to be around him and he's gone way too soon and it sucks him and two of his buddies that he grew up with were killed in the car accident apparently there was some alcohol involved

[00:58:28] with the person that supposedly caused the accident and in this day and age call fucking over like there's no reason to be getting behind the wheel if you've been drinking um it is just it's a shame

[00:58:41] this kid had his whole life and his whole career had of them uh and now he's just taken way too soon over just a bad decision made by somebody and it's awful yeah shitty choices that change your life

[01:00:28] belly yeah and he was supposed to be the next big thing and yeah he was like driving super fast on the Pennsylvania term hike or something and another one gone too soon how about the boat

[01:00:40] accident to Cleveland Indians you remember that they basically like I don't know if they were drink I don't want to speculate I can't remember but the boat three of you guys it was all killed

[01:00:50] in the accident this is the part of like in the football year from the end of OTAs to the beginning of training camp that has coaches and management so nervous because you don't have eyes on the

[01:01:00] players and all your hoping is that you don't get the type of call that Quasi and Kevin O'Connell got two days ago that a player's gone you know you're thinking I don't want to get anybody

[01:01:10] nobody you get arrested or get any trouble this is the worst of it but this is this is what they hate this time of year they want to keep everybody in the in the building and have eyes on them

[01:01:19] at all times because it's still 24 or 23 or 22 week two-year-old kids that now have a shit little money and they can sometimes make bad decisions not that that was Kyrie Jackson's issue but it can happen and it's really rugs into this career you was a rator with everybody loved

[01:01:37] him as a rator if you're a rator fan and it is whole career because car accident yeah it sucks so you know condolences to the Jackson family anybody else that was lost and then a horrible accident

[01:01:51] and to the Vikings and the NFL in general I mean this is just something that just sucks and now you know Kevin O'Connell has to go in and get these guys ready for a season and it's kind of hard

[01:02:03] when you know that's not the most important thing anymore is it you know so oh anything else devil related that you guys want to talk or hockey related before we wrap this thing up pretty

[01:02:14] evening covered everything that I wanted to cover tell him what he got i'm gonna say i was just appointed I heard that the devils are going to use the jersey jerseys again this year we have

[01:02:24] these beautiful stadium jerseys they're awesome and here are any plans to work them back in no I think they're done I mean I'm just just for gamer to at least throw it so I'm

[01:02:34] probably cool so I'm like that yeah right I think they should be our home uniforms yeah yeah I agree and just like nice and I would be totally cool with them replacing the jersey jersey

[01:02:45] and getting a lot more games while either way let's just look at that Chris got one in like you hot little hands that's just where I'm against the flyers every time we play them yeah

[01:02:54] there you go that was our last that was our last fun yeah that was like we're all all those areas like ever season yeah that was all down the drain and we really thought

[01:03:04] that that was it that was the turning point they came out and wiped up on the flyers at the metal ends and that we're making sure that jersey all he would have had the nickels pressed post

[01:03:13] conference was awesome and then he says hers and coming in all dressed like bucket and Tony's a prano and but that was Bobby's jersey I have to get that to you at some point um yeah

[01:03:23] it's all jamming to be doing something I think I'm done there so I think I sent the right one you had to hurt he's your one right Tom yes yes okay so you got sent to get them in the states in

[01:03:32] November we gotta November we are playing a festival yes I am playing a festival in Tampa well bringing my the reads lie agreed to do and I told Chris is ready because I want

[01:03:41] to my daughters to see us play having played since 2018 this is the generic crisp and yep generic crisp and the crap out of your girl my kids that's 3 and 5 and they love like

[01:03:52] Alice Cooper might even Judas Christ my little ones get into oh yeah they're all so when they asked us to do it at first I didn't want to do it's like I said it's been a while since we

[01:04:02] played and actually the whole the group I'm playing with the guys that I'm playing with is one of the year basically I played with for years we all agreed my daughters coming from Colorado driving

[01:04:11] down just for the show and on my wife's like hey you know your daughters might never get to see you get older man you know how long I'm gonna do this for and I agreed to do it so I'm really

[01:04:19] excited they're gonna get to see me and that's awesome yeah we're gonna play a tap on it's 23rd one last date that I want to bring up December 19th is a Thursday 7 o'clock at Columbus

[01:04:32] I think that we need to go to that game I think we should try and work out a Thursday night driving out there going to get a hotel and that's it I did it was to go to Tampa meet up with

[01:04:46] Tony I love it man you guys could stay I mean I'll fight you know if you stay with me man I think even if you guys came there playing it would be I'll tell you Tampa whoever hasn't been

[01:04:57] there I know Florida's gets crazy sometimes but the arena's beautiful a lot of fun a lot of Delta fans usually identical comes out and actually like every game I've been to in the

[01:05:06] last couple years so come out and take a picture with all the devil fans out front and everybody gather up a big from devil's all day all night and we set up this thing where everybody

[01:05:13] comes out there and it's a blast man you know devil's draw heavy there because you got to figure everyone's coming up from New York or Jersey it lives there now so it's an awesome time I'm gonna check

[01:05:23] these dates out yeah well let's try and work out a couple of road trips a couple of Uncle Pucca road trips and then hopefully maybe be able to catch up with you Tony that would be awesome
